One of the most beautiful tourist destinations in Italy is Capri<\/strong>, considered the queen of the Flegrean Islands<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Located in front of the Sorrento peninsula<\/strong><\/a> and close to the famous Amalfi Coast<\/strong><\/a>, Capri means chic holiday, but it\u2019s also a place of natural beauty.<\/p>\n

The proximity of Capri to the mainland makes it perfect for even a day-trip visit<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Here are some tips on what to do on the island.<\/p>\n

The Faraglioni <\/span><\/h3>\n

The Faraglioni are 3 large rock formation<\/strong>s that stand out of the sea. They are one of the symbols of Capri<\/strong> and the entire Gulf of Naples.<\/p>\n

The name “Faraglioni” derives from the Greek “pharos<\/strong>“, which means \u201clighthouse<\/strong>\u201d. This is due to the fact that people used to lit large fires<\/strong> on the top of these rocks to show the route to sailors.<\/p>\n

Each of the them has its own name<\/strong>.
\nSaetta<\/strong> is the closest to the mainland. The central one is Stella<\/strong>, which has a natural cave that can be crossed by boat. The last one is Scopolo<\/strong>. Then, there is also a fourth stack, called Scoglio del Monacone<\/strong>, just behind the others.<\/p>\n

Remember that you cannot land on the Faraglioni. After all, the best way to enjoy them is taking a boat tour<\/strong> around the island.<\/p>\n
